DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is a high-purity solution of urea in water. It is used in Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR)-equipped diesel vehicles to chemically reduce NOx emissions. DEF is contained in a separate tank and sprayed into the exhaust gases.
